Just Another Top 10 Adventures: Niagara Falls, Canada

Recently my husband and I decided to take a last minute trip to Niagara Falls, Canada. It has been on our list of places to go for some time now and we decided to take the plunge (not literally plunge into the falls, hehe). I know vacations are technically for blowing money, but that doesn’t mean you have to blow it before you get there. Since it was a last minute trip I was determined to save as much money as I could on this trip. So, here’s my advice to you before I get into the top adventures we had… Use Groupon for your hotel. A lot of times…

    Best King Cake in NOLA

There have always been debates on the best king cake in the city, but who really wins? Now that it’s Mardi Gras season in NOLA the king cake junkies are out in full force. I know, because I am definitely one of them. I grew up eating the typical Randazzo’s king cakes, but now, I have tried so many different kinds that it was hard for me to choose just one, until……THE DONG PHUONG KING CAKE stole my tiny little mardi gras bead covered heart. Dong Phuong Oriental Bakery is the name and king cakes are their game (only during the season), and boy are we happy they decided to make…

Top 10 Must Do activities in Yellowstone National Park Wolf Den – Lamar Valley If you’re looking for a true Yellowstone experience you have to wake up at the butt crack of dawn and head out to Lamar Valley to see the wolves leave their den. Now, giving exact directions to this den is not easy for me since I am not a local – but, if you ask around people will definitely get you on that tiny little dirt road to find the den. Make sure to have your binoculars or scope and get there early because it will be chilly, slightly crowded, and quite the wait because we…

    Honeymoon to Hawaii

Honeymoon to Hawaii – 2016 The best thing about Hawaii, was getting there via the ocean. What more could anyone ask for? Clean air, the ocean mist, open bar, free food, and lots of QT with my new hubby! We decided to take a Hawaiian cruise for our honeymoon, and boy were we not bored. Going back a few weeks; Nick and I got married in the beautiful City Park smack dab in the middle of NOLA (New Orleans, Louisiana for those of you who may not know). Amazing oak trees, cool weather, green grass, moss hanging, candles floating, flowers everywhere…yep, it was pretty magical. After planning and prepping for…
